• Weighted Therapeutic Pad

Are PVC, PAC, SVT & Palpitations making it hard to sleep?  Have you seen a cardiologist and was told you are in good health and is NOT concerned about your PVC/palpitations?

If you answered yes to these questions this tool could help you.

The Well-BEAN eliminates the effects of PVCs/palpitations allowing you to sleep peacefully and minimize the occurrence of atrial fibrillation! It provides a non-invasive method to control the effects of PVCs and atrial fibrillation by applying gentle pressure on the body's diaphragm where the vagus nerve travels. The surprising calming effect of sleeping with Well-BEAN all night carries over to the next day. The Well-BEAN currently holds a provisional patent on its design and specifications.

  • Why it Works - Vagus Nerve Stimulation:

Stimulation of the vagus nerve slows the heart rate and promotes a calming effect throughout the body, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Theory: The Well-BEAN provides additional pressure on the diaphragm increasing the stimulation of the vagus nerve and calming effect on the body and reducing palpitations.

Owners Story:

How this Weighted Bean Bag Changed My Life with Palpitations and AFIB

For years, I struggled with something I never expected would impact my life so deeply skipping heartbeats, or what doctors call arrhythmias and palpitations. It started subtly, just the occasional strange flutter or pause in my chest. But over time, it became a source of real distress, especially at night.

The Disruptive Reality of Living with Palpitations

I eventually saw a doctor, who confirmed I had arrhythmias. Thankfully, he told me I was in otherwise good health and didn’t need treatment. That should have been reassuring but it wasn’t.

Even though I wasn’t particularly stressed or anxious before, the irregular heartbeats caused anxiety. Falling asleep became a challenge. I could feel the skipped beats in my chest, and it was both irritating and unsettling. During the day, I couldn’t concentrate. I found myself constantly checking my pulse placing my fingers on my neck so often that it became a noticeable habit. People around me started to comment on it, wondering what was going on.

I tried antacids, which sometimes helped, but not always. Then, to make things worse, AFIB (atrial fibrillation) episodes started first once a month, then multiple times a month. That sensation of fluttering, racing, or pounding was scary. And the unpredictability of it all left me feeling helpless.

A Surprising Discovery

Then, something unexpected made all the difference.

One night, out of desperation, I tried sleeping with a weighted bean bag over my upper stomach. I had heard that some people used light pressure to ease anxiety or help with alleviating pain, but I wasn’t expecting much.

To my surprise, it worked.

The palpitations calmed down. My acid reflux calmed down while sleeping. I fell asleep more easily. I didn’t wake up with that weird, uneasy feeling in my stomach that often preceded an AFIB episode. It felt like my body and nervous system finally had a signal to relax.

Over 10 Years Later…

It’s been over 10 years now, and when my palpitations start acting up I still sleep with that same weighted bean bag (the one I use is called the Well-Bean). I have control of my nightly palpitations, and the frequency of my AFIB episodes has dropped dramatically.

Final Thoughts

If you’re dealing with irregular heartbeats, AFIB, or unexplained chest discomfort talk to your doctor first to rule out any serious conditions. But if you’ve been cleared and are still struggling with symptoms, especially at night, I can’t recommend trying Well-Bean enough.

It’s a simple, non-invasive tool that brought me peace when nothing else worked.

About Us

I’m an engineer by day and a gardener on weekends, but my passion for wellness led me to create the Well-BEAN. No meds, no medical procedures, just this simple tool.

In July 2025, after using my own handmade version for over a decade to ease palpitations and improve sleep, my kids encouraged me to share it. Now, we run this small family on-line store, hand-making each Well-BEAN with care and purpose.
